Another post, another breakfast ✨ Especially in winter, but also in summer this is one of my favorite breakfasts. In fact, I eat it most days of the week. It’s delicious, but also really filling, which is great for a long or busy day ahead. What you need: (serves 1)

3 tbsp of oats

1 tbsp of chia seeds

1 tbsp of flax seeds (substitute for another tbsp of chia or the other wag around if you only have one of the two)

1 tbsp of coconut flour (optional)

A dash of cinnamon (or more if you like)

A pinch of salt (optional) 

1 1/3 cup of oat milk (or any other milk)

1-2 tsp of cashew butter (or any other nut butter - I just find cashew to be very neutral)

1 tsp of coconut oil

All toppings are optional, use whatever you have at home.. here are the ones I used:


Half of a banana

1 square of my favorite Vivani 75% coconut sugar chocolate

1 tsp of nut butter (I used peanut butter)

A drizzle of agave syrup (maple or honey)

Puffed quinoa


Put all dry ingredients in a pot and stir well

Add in the milk and stir

Put on the stove over medium heat

Add in nut butter & coconut oil

When melted, give it a good stir and let simmer a little bit longer over low heat (depending on how thick or liquid you like your oatmeal, feel free to add more liquid, or simmer for longer

Now pour the mix into a bowl, and too with toppings of your choice
