Cashew Butter

I feel like I start every blog post like this, but I LOOOOVE cashew butter. Cashews are my favorite, and cashew butter is just the most delicious creamy spread there is.. Making it yourself may not save you time, but will definitely save you a bit of money. So heres what you need:

  • 400 g of cashews

  • 1/2 tsp of vanilla

  • Pinch of salt

Directions:

  1. Preheat the oven to 160 degrees

  2. Pour the nuts on a tray, and roast for 10 minutes 

  3. Add the cashews into a food processor, add vanilla and salt and blend 

  4. Be sure to scrape down the sides every now and then

  5. Blend until smooth (this may take up to 10 minutes)
