Breakfast is my favourite, and i just can't seem to get enough of porridge..
So here's another porridge recipe:
For a single serving you'll need:
3 tbsp of oats
1 tbsp of chia seeds
1 tsp of flax seeds
A dash of cinnamon (if you like)
Vanilla or a tbsp of unsweetened vanilla pudding powder
300ml of plant milk - I mostly use oat or cashew milk
1 tsp of coconut sugar (optional - also: you can use any other sweetener like honey, agave, maple syrup etc.)
Pour everything into a pot, and stir until combined (or prepare the night before by putting all ingredients into a jar - I shake it a couple of times before I go to bed)
If you have time, I recommend to let it sit for a couple of minutes (at least 10 minutes)
Then cook over medium heat (the longer you cook it, the thicker it'll get - be sure to keep stirring it every now and then)
When the porridge is done, get to the toppings, and just use whatever you have at home. I like mine to be topped with banana, berries, chocolate, and nut butter - Id say these are my favourites for sure.
